Collector's Edition Saddles
Sawtooth Saddle is proud to present a variety of Western Saddles: authentic Old Time Western Saddles, Buckaroo Western style saddles and custom made Modern Western saddles.
Collector's Edition products are unique and made especially for you. Each Collector's Edition product is built with the premium options available. These products allow the maker to use all of their creative talents and any additional time they require to painstakingly produce a truly impressive piece of equipment. If you have dreamed of a truly unique product, this is for you.
Collector's Edition Packages are Old Time, Buckaroo or Modern Saddles which includes your choice of saddle with a headstall, reins, a martingale or a breast collar (whichever is accurate), bags, a blanket, and a leather bound picture book. (See Picture Book) This picture book contains pictures showing step by step construction of your saddle and gear. There will also be a write-up of the evolution and historical significance of the saddle and gear. Each Package is numbered individually and all of the Package products will have the same number.
Collector's Edition Series are individual products that have been researched and designed to look like the originals. These products range from chaps to bags. More products are always being added. Each product is numbered by type.
Besides being numbered inside of a Collector's Edition stamp, all Package and Series products will also be stamped with a Maker's Stamp.

The original saddle was custom made for Buffalo Bill Cody by Collins and Morrison of Omaha, Nebraska in 1893. The saddle was extensively hand tooled and generously studded with over 65 ounces of solid silver. All of the silver work was custom created specifically for this saddle by L. J. Kass of Albert Edholm Jewelry Establishment. When it was delievered, it was reported to have been the "handsomest saddle they could make." We are pleased to introduce this Old Time Saddle to our collection.
The silverwork incorporated into our version of the Cody Saddle was created by Clint Orms Silversmith. Collector's Edition
